英語中乘法可以用time過multiply

舉個例子

2×4=8通常有三種表達

2 multiplied by 4 is 8.

2 times 4 is 8

Multiply 2 and 4,you can get 8.

初中生可以這樣說

three times four is tweelve

高中生可以這樣說

three multiplied by four is twelve

英語中的加、減、乘、除分別表示為：

1. 加的表示法 “加”用“plus、and、add”表示  “等於”用“is、make、equal”表示 3 + 4 =12   Three  plus  four is twelve . 

2 + 3 = 5 Two  plus  three  is  five。 Two  and  three  make  five． Two  and  three  is  equal  to  five。 Two  added  to   three  equals  five．  If  we  add  two  to/and  three,  we   get  five． 

 2. “減”用 minus或 take from表示  10－6＝?  How  much  is  ten  minus  six?  10-6=4  Ten  minus  six  is  four．  Take  six  from  ten  and  the  remainder  is  four.  Six  (taken)  from  ten  is  four． 

 3. “乘”用time（動詞）或multiply表示  3X4＝?  How  much  is  three  times  four?  3X4=12  Three  times  four  is/are  twelve．  Multiply  three  by  four， we  get  twelve．  Three  multiplied  by  four  makes  twelve．  

4.“除”用divide的過去分詞形式表示  16÷4=?  How  much  is  sixteen  divided  by  four?  16÷4＝4  Sixteen  divided  by  four  is  four．  Sixteen  divided  by  four  equals/gives/makes  four．
