as 經常在句子中出現，但是同學們總是傻傻分不清楚到底是什麼意思，因為as的意思比較多。但不管哪種意思，基本上都是連詞。那我們知道連詞是連線兩個句子的所以就有一下幾種情況：
1. as表示時間（時間狀語從句），意思是隨著，
例如：As an increasing number of people use mobile devices to read, newspaper is gradually disappearing.
2. as表示原因（原因狀語從句），意思是由於
例如：Enjoying the first hour of the day is important as it sets the mood for the rest of the day.（享受一天的第一個小時是很重要的，因為它為接下來的一天奠定了基調。）
3. as表示方式（方式狀語從句），意思是像，以...的方式，
例如：Children should not be allowed to behave as they want.（孩子們不應該被允許為所欲為。）as引導一個句子來修飾動詞behave，所以是方式狀語。
4. as表示關係代詞（特殊的定語從句），這裡面as沒有什麼具體的意思。
例如：As you can see, we"re still working.或者 They didn"t finish the task, as you expected. 這裡的as就像非限定性定語從句中的which，代表另外整句話。比如第一句，as代表we’re still working，意思就是正如你看到的，我們還在工作。
