Tom saw a cross fellow beating an ass,
看見小夥兒在趕驢，
Heavy laden with pots, pans, and glass
罈罈罐罐壓驢背；
He took out his pipe and he played them a tune,

And the jackass"s load was lightened full soon
驢子背上輕飄飄。
