I once had a girl

我曾有過一個女孩

Or should I say she once had me

抑或說她曾擁有我

She showed me her room

她領我去她房裡

Isn"t it good Norwegian wood

豈不很美妙嗎，在這挪威的森林

She asked me to stay

她叫我留下

And she told me to sit anywhere

讓我隨意坐下

So I looked around

而我環顧四周

And I noticed there wasn"t a chair

才注意到空蕩蕩的並無一把椅子

I sat on a rug biding my time

我坐在地毯上開始消磨時光

drinking her wine

這期間喝著她的酒

We talked until two and then she said

和她秉燭夜談直到夜裡兩點，然後她說

it"s time for bed

該上床歇息了吧

She told me she worked

她跟我說

in the morning and started to laugh

她在早晨工作並故作鎮定地笑笑

I told her I didn"t

我告訴她我不用工作

and crawled off to sleep in the bath

然後起身爬到浴缸裡呼呼大睡

And when I awoke I was alone

當我醒來時，我孤身一人

This bird had flown

這隻美麗的小鳥已經飛走了

So I lit a fire

所以我點燃了一把火
