使令動詞也叫使役動詞，通常都會稱呼使役動詞

使役動詞有：make have let get keep leave

表示“讓......”“使......”

句型：

make sth done 表示“讓別人...”“被別人”

make himself heard .讓別人聽到他。他被別人聽到

make sth adj . 表示“使...處於一種狀態”

make room clean (乾淨的). 讓房間處於乾淨狀態

有一類動詞含使令意味，譯成使……，常見的有interest， excite， frighten， surprise， amuse， tire等。這類動詞大多可以構成-ed和-ing結尾的分詞形容詞。-ing分詞表示被修飾詞本身的性質、特徵，意為令人……的，而-ed分詞表示被修飾詞對外界事物的體驗、感受，意為感到……的。例如：

1. Though surprised to see us， the professor gave us a warm wecome.

　　surprised 修飾the professor，意為感到吃驚，在句中作狀語。

　　2. Lucy has a great sense of humor and aways keeps her coeagues amused with her stories.

　　3. Mr. Smith， tired of the boring speech， started to read a nove.
