研究員在中國是一個職稱，主要用在科研院所，非大學教職的學者，相當於正教授，主任醫師，是很高的職稱了。這個和國外科研機構的researcher 研究人員(所有科研工作者都可以叫researcher不一樣)

以陳鍇傑目前杜克大學本科三年級在讀且休學的身份來說，應該拿不到這個職稱，也沒有哪個美國單位會隨便給他這個職稱。

美國名校博士畢業，最一開始就業，最多也就是給個Associate professor,助理教授。美國的research scientist 就是特指博士後研究人員。
