香港的醫學培養沒有預科階段，高中畢業後參加Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE)，成績優異者可以申請醫學院。一二年級的醫學生在香港中文大學校園本部就讀，完成基礎醫學課程的學習，這些課程包括解剖學、組織學、病理學、藥理學、生理學等等。三年級開始，醫學生就會住進教學醫學--威爾斯親王醫院的醫學生宿舍，開始他們的臨床學習階段。

醫藥科學 Master of Medical Sciences ，一般 1 月初 -5 月底，雅思 6( 小分 5.5) 託福 80 ， 12800 港幣。這個方向主要培養從事臨床、科研研究、實踐或教學工作能力。課程偏向基礎醫學和臨床醫學，包括細胞病理學，生物資訊學，生物統計概論，流行病學概論，細胞代謝，實驗方法與儀器，藥物作用原理，實驗動物處理與手術技巧，所以基礎醫學相關的專業、臨床醫學都可以去申請。
