伴隨著Duet介面（此前稱Duplex）的改進，Chrome在底欄上新增了全新的搜尋按鈕，允許使用者直接點選跳轉至位址列並且執行谷歌搜尋。援引外媒Android Police報道，在Chrome 73版本中中對搜尋功能進行最佳化，將會分離複製的URL地址和其他近期搜尋。此外點選搜尋欄後會跳出URL列表，允許使用者直接點選搜尋或者輸入新的URL。

目前這項功能已經在Chrome 73的開發者版本和Canary版本中上線，需要啟用 flag- chrome://flags/#enable-search-ready-omniboxflag（複製這段到位址列並按回車），然後啟用這些改變。谷歌還在已經複製的URL旁邊添加了分享和編輯按鈕，允許使用者直接編輯或者分享給好友。
