自從來了那日本人呀

把我學會料料燻

身上常有那零花錢

天天打扮還洗洗臉呀

The first year I tried drugs

I still had pocket mony about

And liked to make up my face

俺家男人把我罵呀

I drugged poor as a church mouse

I was hated by the husband

My face turned pale as tinplate

The trousers too turned into rags

That hardly covered the hips

But uncovered the front shames
