區別
1、can, could（能）
表示一般現在時和一般過去時兩種時態，有時也能表示將來時。所有其他時態（包括將來時）須用to be able 加動詞不定式來表示。
①What can I do for you?我能為你做什麼嗎？
②It surely can"t be eleven o"clock already. 不可能已經十一點鐘了。
④Will you be able to finish the chemical experiment today? 你今天能做完這個化學實驗嗎？
⑤The seventy-year-old man has been able to swim in the ocean in winter for twenty years.這位七十歲的老人冬天能在海里游泳已經有二十年的歷史了。
2、must必須，應當
①You must get to the airport before nine o"clock. 你必須在九點以前到達飛機場。
②Your homework must be clear and complete.你的作業應當清楚完整。
④She must be writing a letter to her mother.
她現在一定在給她媽媽寫信。（must加動詞不定式進行時也可表示對現在發生的動作的推測，表示“一定”或“準是”的意思。）
⑤The road is wet. It must have rained last night.
馬路溼了，昨晚一定下雨了。（must加動詞不定式的完成式，說明對過去事物的推測，表示“一定”或“準是”的意思。）
3，must是命令的語氣，can稍弱。
用must,表示肯定推測語氣強，can多用於否定
