一、意思不同

1.deserve to do意思：值得做的事

2.deserve doing意思：值得做；值得被做

二、用法不同

1.deserve to do用法：後可跟that從句，從句中用should。後可跟名詞，但中間不加介詞of。

例句：

You deserve to be happy for all the good things you do.

你做的這些好事定會給你帶來幸福。

2.deserve doing用法：指某人因行為，品行，才幹而“應受，應得”，其賓語常是獎賞、批評、懲罰等詞，也可指某物因具有某些特點而“值得…”，其賓語常是關注、研究、考慮等詞。

例句：

Americans deserve better, in this city today, there are people want doing better.

美華人理應得到更好的回報。在這個城市裡，今天有人想把事情辦得更好一些。

1.deserve to do側重點：用於一般現在時。
