1.so後跟形容詞或副詞；such後跟名詞或名詞短語。

2.名詞前如有many,much,little,few時，用so,不用such.

so與such用法的區別有四種情況：

① 用於單數可數名詞之前，其格式為：

such+a/an+形容詞+名詞"，如： such a big apple

而"so+形容詞+a/an+名詞"。 如： so big an apple

② 用於可數名詞複數或不可數名詞前，只能用 such，如：

It is such good weather that we want to go for a walk. (weather不可數，前面不能用so)

They are such good students that they can pass the exam easily. （students是複數名詞）

④ 在表示多少的many, much, few, little這四個詞前只能用so而不能用such.如：

I have so little money that I can"t buy the dictionary.

There are so many flowers in the garden.
