1、跳上跳下，描述一種特徵動作——不停地向上跳，落地後接著向上跳：

2、比喻用法，並非真的“竄上竄下”，而是受到驚嚇，或非常憤怒：

3、比喻用法，形容非常的開心或者高興：

thegirlshouldhavereceivedapresentfromahandsomeboyintheoffice,makingherjumpupanddownwithunprecedentedexcitement.

upanddown的其它用法：

shehasbeenupanddownwithrage.同上述第2種用法：她已經爆走了。

moveupanddown上下移動。

keepitupanddown保持垂直動作方向。
