even though是“即使”之意，是一種假設；如：I won"t attend her wedding even though I am invited.though是“雖然，儘管”之意，是一種讓步，如: Though he is very young, he knows a lot about computers.兩者應該沒有聯絡，不會弄混的。

even though(即使)= even if 帶有較強的意味, 所接的句子常用虛擬語氣。

though引導的讓步狀語從句可用部分倒裝的形式(注意，倒裝後位於句首的名詞之前不用冠詞)

例句：

1. Poor though I am, I can afford it. 我雖窮，但這東西還是買得起的。

2. Child though he was, he did quite well. 他雖是孩子，但乾得很好。

3. Even though you had wings ,you can’t bethere in time.即使你長了翅膀,也無法及時到那裡。

though之後不能用but，但在強調時可用yet,still, nevertheless等詞 though可用作副詞。
