join是"加入"的意思

而"joinin"是"參加"的意思

例如:參加黨(joinintheparty)

還有"takepartin"也是"參加"的意思

例如:參加歌詠小組(takepartinthesinginggroup)

還有"enterfor"是"報名參加"的意思

例如:報名參加數學競賽(enterforthemathscontest)

當join和joinin當“參加”講時。

join表示參加某一團體、組織、機構，並作為其中一員（如：入黨、入團、入會、參軍等）
