for example一般只舉同類人或物中的“一個”為例，作插入語，用逗號隔開，可置於句首、句中、句末；such as常列舉同類人或物中的幾個例子，不能窮盡，可和and so on連用，可分開使用such．．．as．．．；like表示列舉，可和such as互換。例如：

1．Noise，for example，is a kind of pollution．舉例說明，噪音就是一種汙染。

2．China has many big cities，such as Beijing，Shanghai，Shenzhen and so on．＝China has many such big cities as Beijing，Shanghai， Shenzhen and so on．中國有許多大城市，比如北京、上海、深圳等等。
