1、be covered with 和be covered by 漢語意思相近，都可以翻譯成“被/由、、、、、、覆蓋”。但是，二者結構本身名稱不同。

2、be covered with 叫做系表結構，介詞with 後面經常接事物，有時也可以接人。例如：

在寒冷的冬季，中國北方很多地方都積雪覆蓋。

As we all know, two-thirds of the earth"s surface is covered with water.

3、be covered by 是被動語態結構，介詞by後面跟動作的發出者，經常是人，也可以是事物。例如：
