in the picture 側重在畫裡

　　例如：

　　See a girl in the picture. 看這幅畫裡有個女孩。

　　at the picture 側重某一位置，這幅畫

　　例如：

　　Look at the picture is pretty. 看這幅畫好漂亮。

　　表示地點、場所、位置等，注意以下用法：　　

　　① 表示某一點位置，用 at：

　　We live at No 89 Shanghai Road.

　　我們住在上海路 89 號。

　　The hospital is at the end of the street.

　　醫院在這條街的盡頭。

　　與名詞所有格連用表示地點，也用 at。如：

　　at my sister’s 在我姐姐家

　　at the doctor’s 在醫務室

　　② 表示空間或範圍，用 in：

　　What’s in the box?

　　這盒子裡有什麼?

　　He lives in Paris with his wife and son.

　　他同他妻子和兒子住在巴黎。

　　但有時兩者可換用：

　　The meeting was held at [in] the hotel. 會議在賓館舉行。
