below與under
區別一
兩者都可表示“低於”，under 主要表示垂直在下的正下方，而 below 則不一定表示正下方(即可以是正下方或非正下方)。如：
Look in the cupboard below [under] the sink. 到洗碗池下面的櫃子裡找一找。
The climbers stopped 300 meters below the top of the mountain. 登山隊員們在離山頂 300 米處停了下來。
換句話說，表示正下方，兩者都可用；不表示正下方，則通常用below。
