介詞+抽象意義的地點名片語成的地點狀語就是抽象意義的地點狀語。常見的抽象地點名詞有:point, case, activity, situation, position, occasion, job, race, letter, platform, email, policy,environment等等。這些詞做先行詞時用where 引導定語從句。但要注意的是,當這些詞作先行詞在從句中作賓語或表語時,用that which。如：
