I solemnly pledge myself before God and in the presence of this assembly, to pass my life in purity and to practice my profession faithfully. I will abstain from whatever is deleterious and mischievous, and will not take or knowingly administer harmful drug. I will do all in my power to maintain and elevate the standard of my profession, and will hold in confidence all personal matters committed to my keeping and all family affairs coming to my knowledge in the practice of my calling. With loyalty will I endeavor to aid the physician in his work, and devote myself to the welfare of those committed to my care.
我上學那會兒宿舍外面就是南丁格爾誓言，還有護理大教室裡面也是，而臨床的就是醫學生誓言。
要宣誓的，5月12日是護士授帽式，就像我們畢業時授學位一樣，是一個很神聖的儀式。不過這個是在醫院舉行的。誓詞是。“我宣誓：以救死扶傷、防病治病，實行社會主義的人道主義，全心全意為人民服務為宗旨，履行護士的天職；我宣誓：以自己的真心、愛心、責任心對待我所護理的每一位病人；我宣誓：我將牢記今天的決心和誓言，接過前輩手中的蠟燭，把畢生經歷奉獻給護理事業。”
南丁格爾誓言
餘謹以至誠, 於上帝及會眾面前宣誓：終身純潔，忠貞職守，盡力提高護理專業標準，勿為有損之事，勿取服或故用有害之藥，慎守病人及家屬之秘密，竭誠協助醫師之診治，務謀病者之福利。
