區別：
There be 的非謂語形式有兩種，即there to be 和there being。
1、作主語
當作主語時，一般是There being結構，當句式中有for時，一般用there to be。
1）There being a shop here is a great advantage. 這兒有個商店，真是方便極了。
2）It is impossible for there to be any more. 不可能再有了。
2、作賓語
如果是動詞賓語，要看這個動詞，我們學過有些動詞後面只能接動名詞，比如mind, enjoy, appreciate等詞後面是必須加doing的形式的；而這些動詞同樣適用於there being, 不能用there to be.
有些動詞只能接不定式的，如want, hope, would like等，後面就接there to be。常見動詞有：expect, mean, intend want, prefer等：
1）We expect there to be no argument.
2） Would you like there to be a picture on the wall?
你喜歡牆壁上掛一張畫嗎？
3）We don"t want there to be any comrade lagging behind.
我們不希望有一個同志掉隊。
4）I don"t want there to be any misunderstanding between us .
我不希望我們之間有什麼誤會。
注意：
作介詞的賓語一般用There being句式，但當在for後時一般用there to be句式。
1）This depended on there being a sudden change.
這需要有一個突然的改變。
2）The teacher was waiting for there to be complete silence.
老師在等著大家都安靜下來。
3）They planned on there being another meeting.
他們打算再開一次會。
4）There is now some hope of there being a settlement of the dispute.
現在還有點希望可以解決這次爭端。
3、 作狀語
用作狀語的there be的形式通常用there being結構。
1）There being no buses, we had to walk home.
由於沒有公共汽車，我們不得不走著回家。
2）There being no nobody in the room, we realized that there was no use crying. 屋裡沒人，我們意識到哭喊是沒有用的。
如果句中出現for時應用there to be。
It was too late for there to be any buses.
太晚了，沒有公共汽車了。
4、 用在It be + adj. for...的結構中，只能接to be
It is impossible for there to be any more chance. 不可能在有機會了。
It was too late for there to be any buses. 時間太晚，不會有汽車了。
We waited for there to be another opportunity. 我們期待著還有下一次機會。
