老巫婆經常對著鏡子問：
“魔鏡、魔鏡，誰是世界上最美麗的女人？”

可是，有一天，當王后再問魔鏡同樣的問題時，魔鏡卻回答說：
“現在白雪公主比你美麗。”
老巫婆聽了非常生氣。
“可惡，怎麼可以有人比我更美麗，我一定要把她除去。”

於是，她就命令宮廷的武士說：
“我不想再看到白雪公主了，你找個藉口，把她帶到森林裡偷偷殺掉。殺了以後，把她的心和舌頭帶回來，做為你殺死她的證據。聽到沒有？不可以有差錯……”

“老巫婆，你很美麗，可是白雪公主比你更美麗，她現在在森林中和七個小矮人過著快樂幸福的生活。”
老巫婆聽了這個回答之後，才知道白雪公主並沒有死，她感到很憤怒。
“真是可惡極了，一定要讓白雪公主從世界上消失”
