During his travels in France as an underwear model, nino came across a book that changed his life. This was the first time he discovered yoga. Later, working in New York City, he took some yoga classes and met his guru dharma mittra. That was when nino made the decision to leave modelling and pursue yoga.
Why did nino decide to come to China? “A friend of mine told me he was training to do a handstand with a Chinese circus master, and I got curious. Also, I’ve always wanted to go to China. ” After learning Chinese, nino visited his friend. That decision lead him to stay in China.

When nino had just arrived in China, he was invited by a yoga instructor to take her class. “I went to her class and right after she came up to me and asked me how my yoga was so good. That"s when I told her I was a yoga instructor.” At the teacher’s invitation, nino then became a yoga instructor in China.

多年前，作為內衣模特的Nino，在旅行的間隙，隨手翻開了一本改變人生軌跡的書。在這本介紹印度文化的書裡，Nino第一次知道，有一種訓練身體，思想，和心靈的方法，叫做瑜伽。
開始階段，Nino閱讀了大量瑜伽書籍，自學瑜伽練習。Nino去紐約工作後，參加了一些瑜伽課程，並遇到了他的瑜伽導師Dharma Mittra。自此，Nino辭去了模特工作，專心於瑜伽修煉。

是什麼契機，讓Nino決定來到中國？曾有一個朋友告訴Nino，他正在中國學習馬戲表演——倒立。這引起了Nino對中國馬戲的好奇心。由此，Nino開始學習中文，來中國看望這位“馬戲朋友”，也開始了他的中國生活。
早在紐約學習時，Nino就接觸到很多紐約的雜技演員。“他們自由的思想，靈活的身軀，讓我意識到，應該從瑜伽墊之外去思考，用一個瑜伽習練者的角度去探索不同的動作。”
