個人覺得世界範圍內的流行樂壇的巔峰時期是在上世紀八九十年代。這段時間誕生了很多天才藝術家和大量膾炙人口的作品，比如:Last Christmas，Careless Whisper，Right here waiting，《Because I Love You》，Rhythm Of The Rian ，Modern Talking-Brother Louie，SAY YOU`LL NEVER 等等。這些歌曲都有一個共同點--就是歌詞內斂不俗，旋律優美流暢，意境深刻畫面感強。這種時代感強的創作理念可能跟那個時代的人單純浪漫敬業有關吧。
