以下9種情況下只用whether 不用if:
1、所引導的從句作介詞賓語時，只用whether

2、引導賓語從句，從句置於句首表示強調時，只用whether

3、和動詞不定式連用時，只用whether eg: I don’t know whether to see my doctor today.
