剛看到題主的提問，來談下我的看法，比較級中有...more （than）that （one/名詞）。兩種情況。
1 more作為much修飾不可數名詞的比較級用於比較語句中時，that作為語句中就同一名詞物件作主語或賓語時，兩次描述表達時，首次用原形，後者為避免重複用that one代替。兩詞這樣情況下比較語句中可用……more than that one構成語句表達。比如：
The meat in the fridge is more than that one.
這個冰箱裡的肉比那個更多。
2 當 more為多音節形容詞或副詞的比較級時，(more popular/more interesting/more important/more carefully),that保持常用用法時，也可以表達。
The song is more popular than that one.
The story is more interesting than that one
以上兩句為多音節形容詞在語句中的比較構成形式。
This boy does his homework more carefully than that boy.
這個男孩做作業比那個男孩更認真。
3 比較否定句中時，no more than that/not more than that,兩種用法，no表示完全否定，no more than that 釋義完全沒有更多比...，相當於only，僅僅，只有。 not more than that 釋義不超過...，半否定比較。
