San Francisco (CNN Business)The United Kingdom has joined the fray with the launch of its 5G network, the next generation of ultra-fast wireless connections.

EE, the UK"s largest mobile carrier, launched 5G wireless Thursday in select areas of London, Edinburgh, Belfast, Cardiff, Birmingham and Manchester. EE customers in the UK can access the new network using new smartphones from makers including Samsung, OnePlus, LG and Oppo.

華為Mate X，三星Galaxy Fold，中興Axon 10 Pro 5G，三星Galaxy S10 5G版，LG V50 5G，小米、OPPO、VIVO、一加等均有支援5G的測試機型。但是，除了華為Mate X支援NSA/SA全網5G模式外，其它的應該都是高通系X50 5G基帶，不支援全網模式，所以說華為還是優勢非常明顯的。
