    We’ll arrange for an experienced teacher.

    I’ve arranged for a taxi.

    Would you like to arrange (for) a personal interview?

    3.正因為表示“安排”時不能直接跟某人作賓語,所以要表示漢語的“安排某人做某事”,英語習慣上不說 arrange sb to do sth,而說arrange for sb to do sth:

    I’ve arranged for Mary to meet you at the airport.

    類似地,英語不說 hope sb to do sth,而說 hope for sb to do sth,不說 wait sb to do sth,而說 wait for sb do sth,不說long sb to do sth,而說long for sb to do sth等.另外還有,英語習慣上不說 demand sb to do sth,而說 demand of sb to do sth.

    They arranged that the meeting (should) be put off to Saturday.

    I’ve arranged that one of our representatives will meet you at the airport.

I’ve arranged for him to attend the meeting.=I’ve arranged that he (should) attend the meeting.

Please arrange us an interview with the workers. Please arrange an interview with the workers for us.
