計算機科學和計算機工程只有兩個字不相同，它們是不是同一類專業?他們有什麼區別呢?去加拿大留學前計劃申請計算機類工作一定要分清楚這兩者的區別。

　　在加拿大的專業設定中，計算機科學(Computer science)是一門獨立的學科，而計算機工程(Computer engineering)則屬於電子電氣工程(Electrical & Computer Engineering)下屬的一個分支，從學習內容上來說，(Computer science)主要偏軟體，而Computer engineering主要偏硬體。

　　一、計算機科學(Computer science)

　　專業設定：Computer science

　　學位設定：

　　研究型一般有：Master of Science;>>>評估申請條件

　　授課型有：Master of Science in Applied Computing (MScAC)或者Master of Science (MSc);

　　學制：授課型一般是1~2年，研究型一般是2年;

　　學院設定：一般是在理學院或者文理學院中開設。

　　二、計算機工程(Computer engineering)

　　專業設定：屬於電子電氣工程(Electrical & Computer Engineering)下屬的一個分支，在加拿大，研究生階段大部分院校都是Electrical & Computer Engineering，簡稱ECE，很少單獨開設Computer Engineering。

　　學位設定：

　　授課型一般有：Master of Engineering (MEng);>>>評估申請條件

　　研究型一般有：Master of Applied Science (MASc)和Master of Science (MSc);

　　學制：授課型一般是1~2年，研究型一般是2年;
