攀上4樓後,賈薩瑪單腳跨過陽臺,並伸出右手把小孩抓起來,前後只花幾秒鐘。消防員抵達現場時,發現小孩已經獲救。

THE "Spiderman" hero who carried out a spectacular rescue of a child left dangling from a Paris balcony is to be made a French citizen.
Mamoudou Gassama, 22, said he was “deeply honoured” after President Emmanuel Macron made the announcement at the Elysee Palace this morning.

Mamoudou was born and raised in the African country of Mali.
During a meeting at the presidential home on Monday, the hero told Macron he arrived in France late last year without papers.
He said: “I left Mali a long time ago, parsing through Burkina-Faso and Nigeria. It was very difficult.”
Mamoudou reached Libya, where he became one of the thousands who pay people smugglers to take down across the Mediterranean by sea.
“It was terrible on the boat. There were so many of us, a lot of people”, he added, saying his journey finally took him to a hostel in the Paris suburb of Montreuil.

The brave Malian was filmed scaling four floors in less than 30 seconds to save a child who was hanging from a balcony in Paris’ 18th arrondissement on Saturday.
Footage of him hauling the four-year-old to safety soon went viral after being posted on social media, where he was compared to the Marvel superhero, Spiderman.
He was walking through the area and just happened to be by the building when he say the child dangling from the balcony.
“I saw all these people shouting, and cars sounding their horns. I climbed up and, thank God, I saved the child.
“I first felt afraid when I had saved the child. We went into the living room, and I started to shake. I could hardly stand up, I had to sit down.
At the Elysee, President Macron asked what condition the child had been in once rescued.
“He was crying, his feet were hurt’ said Mamoudou, adding that he had seen the unnamed toddler since the incident.
