英語的流行語往往也是一些在網路上或者電競圈裡用得多了，然後漸漸流行開來。

比如說，get rekt, 這個詞原本是遊戲裡面的用語。rekt 意思相當於wrecked, 原意是嚴重毀壞，殘了。在遊戲裡是“受到一噸傷害”的意思。有點像我們漢語裡“受到一萬點傷害” 的意思。

另外的還有，deadbeat kids，根據字面意思，大家或許可以猜出來了，就是父母想忘死裡打的熊孩子，連父母都不想要了的孩子。有時候簡稱DB kids.
