沒有pay ...on 這種用法

pay ... for ...意思是“花……做……”，主語是人；可與spend ...on /doing 互換。

如：I paid ten yuan for the book last week.

=I spent ten yuan on the book last week .

=I spent ten yuan buying the book last week.

上週我花了10元錢買這本書。

拓展：

1、pay money to sb for sth. 付錢給某人做某事。

如：

I paid 10 yuan to the shop owner for that book.

=I paid the shop owner 10 yuan for that book.

我付給店主10元買那本書。

2、pay sb. 付錢給某人。

例: They pay us every month.

他們每月給我們報酬。
