不定式位於系動詞之後時，不定式或者不定式短語就作表語，其特點是：系動詞後面的不定式就是主語具體的動作或狀態。系動詞be後面的表語在位置上可以和主語互換。

不定式短語to clean the room 在 系動詞 is 的後面，做 is 的表語，表示將要去打掃的具體動作。
主語和表語互換位置：

2.Our task is to study Chinese well. 不定式短語 to study English well 在系動詞 is的後面，做 is 的表語，表示要學好英語的具體動作。
主語和表語互換位置：

如果系動詞不是be,主語和表語不一定能互換。例句：
He seemed to be tired.
這個句子的主語和表語的位置就不能互換。
