“next to”和“near”都有指物理距離不遠的，鄰近的意思，區別如下：
1、near是多指在附近、向……靠近（但並不一定挨著）
Sit next to… 坐在…旁邊
Be next to… 坐在…旁邊
Live next to… 住在…旁邊
【例句】He sits near to me. 他坐在我的附近。（不一定挨著我坐）
2、“next to”指“貼近;挨著;與……相鄰”
【例句】He sits next to me. 他挨著我坐。
