long的比較級是longer，最高階寫作longest。

在具體語境中，只有當兩者及其以上的事物進行比較時，才能用到比較級，

比如：Her hair is longer than me.她的頭髮比我長。

當物體出現三者或三者以上進行對比時，形容詞都必須用最高階，例如：

his hair is longest in the class.
