as 引導限制性定語從句，主要用於the same…as（與……相同），such…as（像……一樣），as…as（與……一樣）。

① such ... as ...：主句含有表示程度的先行限定詞such，從句用 as 引導。

如：

I never heard such stories as he tells. 我從未聽過他講的這類故事。

We had such grapes as you never saw. 我們有你從未見過的那種葡萄。

②the same ... as ...：相同比較概念。正是主句有了the same，從句 as 才與之構成了比較意義

如：

I’m the same weight as I was twenty years ago. 我現在的體重和20年前一樣。

It’s the same story as I heard from her yesterday. 這故事跟我昨天從她那兒聽到的一樣。

We arrived at the same time as you did. 我們與你同時到達。

He is the same age as you are. 他和你同齡

as, such, so, 都表示“一樣的；那樣的”，as 才與之構成了比較意義：“像......那樣的”。

、the same as 和 the same that 都指“和……相同”

the same as 強調的是型別的相同

the same that 強調的是物體本身的相同

如果我有一本書，那麼同類別的書就叫做the same as，這本書本身就the same that

1.the same as是同樣的。譬如，同班學生使用的教材是同樣的，可以說：Student A has the same book as Student B (has).(as是關係代詞，替代先行詞the same book ，又作省去的has的賓語)

2.the same that是同一個。譬如，我今天使用的和昨天使用的是同一本教材，可以說：Today I use the same book that is used yesterday.(that是關係代詞，替代先行詞the same book ，作主語)

二、such…as的意思是“像……這種的”，“像……那樣的”，其中的 as 用作關係代詞，引導定語從句，as 在定語從句中用作主語或賓語。此外，不要按漢語意思把該結構中的 as 換成like。

如：

He is not such a fool as he looks. 他並不像他看起來那麼傻。

Such men as he (is) are rare now. 現在像他這樣的人很少了
