首先我覺得，對於我們這些沒有經過專業聲樂訓練的人來說，想要唱好歌最重要的一點就是對唱歌有興趣，還記得當年上學時，學業繁忙，每天只有等做完作業後才有時間躺在床上聽聽自己喜歡的歌，三更半夜躺著學唱歌，總是把我媽吵醒，她還以為這孩子讀書讀傻了。

記得我學的第一首歌英文歌是Take me to your heart(對，就是吻別的英文版)，這首歌當初可謂風靡一時，在那個音像店還很流行的年代，大街小巷總能聽到這首歌，應該是一代人的回憶了。這裡講一個英文歌最普遍的技巧。舉個例子，這首歌裡有一句歌詞是:someone like you girl。我們正常發音like you應該是這樣發音[laIk ju]，當唱起來的時候為了跟上節奏應這樣發音[laI ju]。很多英文歌都是這樣的連讀發音。最後我認為，不管唱什麼歌最關鍵是要投入感情啊，這樣最次也不會差到哪去。
