how作“怎樣,怎麼樣”解時,主要是指做某事或某事發生的方式或方法,還可以引導從句或動詞不定式,在句中作賓語,引導的從句在句中還可作定語。how表示某種方式時,可放在表示方式的名詞後面。how作“情況如何”解時,指詢問某人的近況或身體狀況如何

1、詢問某事的進展情況

How + be + 其它？……進展的如何？如:

——How is the work?這項工作進展的如何？

——It's OK.還行。

2、詢問某人最近過得怎麼樣。回答可以說情況好和不好。 如:

——How is it going? 最近情況如何?

——Pretty good! 相當好!



3、詢問某人近來的身體狀況。如:

①——How are you?你好嗎？

——I am fine, thanks，and you?我很好，謝謝，你呢？

②——How is your father?你爸爸最近好嗎？

——Not bad.還行。

4、詢問出行的交通方式

句型:How do/does sb. do sth.。

答語: 交通工具的形式是原形。

①sb. take/takes a/the+交通工具。

注意:有冠詞;

②sb.+動詞+地點+by+交通工具(無冠詞)。如:

①——How do you get to school?你是如何到達學校的？

——I walk to school.=I get to school on foot.我步行上學。

②——How does Bob go to Shanhaiguan?鮑勃如何去的山海關?

——He goes there by plane.坐飛機。



5、問時間的長度

句型: How long does it take (sb.) to do sth.?做某事花費某人多長時間？

注意這個句型中有三個考點:

①does,形式;

②take的形式;

③後面的to do。

答語: (It's +) 時間長度。如:

①——How long does it take you to finish your homework?做完作業花費了你多長時間呢？

——It's fifty minutes./Fifty minutes.五十分鐘。

②——How long does it take to play basketball?(主語省略)打籃球用了多長時間呢？

——Half an hour.半小時。

6、問兩個地點之間的距離

句型: How far is it from A to B?從A地到B地的距離有多遠？

注意:

①it是形式主語。

②from…to… 從……到……。

答語:(It's)+距離。如:

①——How far is it from your home to school?從你家到學校多遠？

——Fifteen kilometers.十五公里。

②——How far is it from your home to Jane's home?從你家到簡的家有多遠呢？

——It's thirty–fine kilometers.三十五公里的路程。



7、問年齡

句型:How old+be+人?某人多大了？=What's one's age?

答語: sb.+基數詞+year(s) old。

如: ①——How old are you?你多大了？

——I am twelveyears old.十二歲了。

②——How old is your grandma?你祖母多大了？

——She is eighty–eight.八十八的高齡。

8、問天氣

句型: How's the weather?=What's the weather like?天氣如何？

答語:It's+描述天氣的形容詞:sunny晴朗的、hot炎熱的、rainy多雨的、windy多風的、cool涼爽的、cloudy多雲的、cold寒冷的、snowy多雪的等等。

如:

——How is the weather Today?今天天氣如何？=What's the weather like Today?

——It's sunny and hot.既晴朗又炎熱。



9、徵求意見或建議

句型: How about+名詞/代詞/動詞的ing形式。

如:

①My coat is red, how about yours?我的毛衣是紅色的，你的呢？

②How about watching TV?看電視怎麼樣呢？

③How about the apples?這些蘋果怎麼樣？

10、問做某事的頻率

句型:How often+do/does sb. do sth?某人多久做某事？

答語:頻率副詞或短語:always總是、usually通常、often經常、sometimes有時、never從不、once a day/week/month/year一天/周/月/年一次等

如:

①——How often do you go shopping?你多久去購一次物？

——Twice a week.一週兩次。

②——How often does your friend go on a picnic?你朋友多久去野餐？

——Four times a month.一月四次。



11、詢問事物的數量

句型:

①How many+可數名詞複數+其它？

②How much+不可數名詞+其它？

如:

——How many flower are there in the bottle?瓶子裡有多少支花?

——Forty.四十。

——How much water do you need?你需要多少水？

——Three cups.三杯。

注意:How much還可以詢問物品的價格？如:

——How much are the shoes?鞋子多少錢？

——Three dollars for one pair and five dollars for two pairs. 三美元一雙五美元兩雙。

12、引導感嘆句

句型：

① How +形容詞+ a/an +可數名詞單數+(主語+謂語)!。如：

How beautiful and lovely a girl she is! 她是個多麼漂亮和可愛的姑娘啊!

How interesting an artist he is!他是個多麼有趣的藝術家啊！

② How +形容詞 / 副詞+主語+謂語。如：

How good she is! 她多麼漂亮啊!

How slow he runs! 他跑得多慢啊!

③How +主語+謂語!。

如：

How time flies! 光陰似箭!

注意:由 what 引導的感嘆句與由 how 引導的感嘆句有時可以轉換，但句中部分單詞的順序要有所變化。如：

How beautiful and lovely a girl she is! = What a beautiful and lovely girl she is!多麼美麗和可愛的女孩啊！

What sweet candies these are! = How sweet these candies are!多麼甜的糖果啊！
