要倒裝時一般是在虛擬語氣的時候。虛擬語氣指的什麼LZ應該是清楚的哦……完全倒裝是把謂語的整個部分放到主語前面；部分倒裝是把謂語成分中的一部分放到主語前（情態動詞什麼的）。
以下是ONLY在虛擬語氣中的基本用法。
only所脩飾的副詞、介詞短語或狀語從句位於句首時，要用倒裝語序。如：
Only then did I realize the importance of health.
到那時我才認識到健康的重要性。
Only thus can we finish the task ahead of time.
只有這樣我們才能提前完成任務。

only倒裝用法
一 、“only+副詞”位於句首：
1、Only then did I realize that I was wrong.
只是到了那時我才意識到是我錯了。
2、Only by shouting was he able to make himself heard.
他只有叫喊才能讓別人聽到他。
二、“only+介詞短語”位於句首：
1、Only by working hard can you succeed.
只有努力工作你才能成功。
2、Only in the reading-room can you find him.
你只有在閱覽室才能找到他。
三、“only+狀語從句”位於句首：
Only after she died was I able to appreciate her.
只有到她死後我才認識到她的價值。
四、注意：若位於句首的不是only+狀語，而是 only+賓語等，則通常無需倒裝(但有時也可以倒裝)：
Only a policeman the children saw in the street.
only部分倒裝的條件是：將only放在句首，only後面加狀語，主句用部分倒裝，就是把be動詞，助動詞或情態動詞放在主語前面，實義動詞仍然放在主語後面，例如：
Only then did I realize the importance of studying. 只是那時我才意識到學習英語的重要性（本句中，only放在了句首，後面接then作時間狀語，主語前面用了助動詞did）
Only when you come to China can you experience Chinese traditions and culture.只有當年來到中國，你才能真正體驗中國的傳統和文化（本句中，only位於句首，後面接了when引導的時間狀語從句，主句主語前面用了情態動詞can）
