主語十謂語的結構形式在英語學習中也非常常見，謂語動詞通常是不及物動詞，本身可以表達完整的意思，不需要再跟賓語。例如他走了He-went。
老師說Teacher says。
小女孩哭了The little girl cried。
太陽每天東昇西落The sun rises in the east and sets in the West every day。
He runs fast.他跑得快。
She can swim.她會游泳。
They eat well.他們吃得好。
His wife left here yesterday.他妻子昨天離開了這裡。
She came here two weeks ago.兩週以前她來到這裡。
My heart attacks fast.我的心跳的好快。
He has gone.他走了。
