一、單詞記憶

這個單詞其實很好記，小學的時候我們就學過find，動詞，“找到”的意思。它的過去式是found。然後found本身也是個單詞，表示“建造，創立”的意思。注意一下，這兩個單詞只是很湊巧長得一模一樣，實際上是沒有任何關係的。

然後在found後面加個a，這是因為讀音需要放在這裡的，沒有實在含義，再加個tion，名詞後綴，foundation就是名詞“建立，創辦”的意思。

1.lay the foundation for：為…打下基礎

What we are learning at school will lay the foundation for the future.

2.without foundation：毫無根據
