王玉珍，女，著名歌劇表演藝術家，國家一級演員。先後在歌劇和電影《洪湖赤衛隊》中扮演女主角韓英，並以一曲《洪湖水，浪打浪》唱紅海內外，成為中華民族紅色經典旋律。1981年在中國音樂學院任教授，民族聲樂研究室主任，享受國務院特殊津貼。歷任湖北省戲劇家協會副主席，湖北省文聯副主席。第三屆和第五屆全國人大代表，北京市第八、九屆人大代表。1959年、1961年，王玉珍分別在同名歌劇、電影《洪湖赤衛隊》中成功地扮演了女主人公韓英，自此紅遍大江南北。她塑造的女英雄韓英，成為幾代人記憶中的經典形象之一；她演唱的《洪湖赤衛隊》中的“主打”歌曲《洪湖水，浪打浪》，更是在神州大地傳唱了半個世紀。而王玉珍此後的人生旅程也處處打上了鮮明的“洪湖”烙印。

Wang Yuzhen, female, famous opera performing artist, national first class actress. She played the heroine Han Ying in the opera and the movie Honghu Red Guards successively, and sang the song Honghu Water, Waves Hit Waves, which became the classic melody of the Chinese red nation. In 1959 and 1961 respectively, Wang Yuzhen played the heroine Han Ying in the opera of the same name and the film Honghu Red Guards, which has been popular ever since. Her heroine Han Ying has become one of the classic images in the memory of generations. Her "flagship" song "Honghu Red Guards", "the waters of Honghu, the waves beat the waves", has been sung throughout China for half a century. Thereafter, Wang Yuzhen's life journey was marked with a distinctive brand of "Honghu".
