一、

正念鼓勵你觀察自己的想法、情緒和行為,這樣你就能更好地注意那些無益的想法,並質疑它們的真實性。

Mindfulness encourages you to watch your thoughts, emotions, and actions; then you are better able to notice the unhelpful thoughts and question their truth.

二、

永遠不要忘記孩子給你的禮物,即使是他們剛剛摘的一朵花。在他們眼裡,他們是在選擇給予他們所能給予的最珍貴的東西。

Never forget when a child gives you a gift, even if it’s a flower they just picked. In their eyes, they are choosing to give you the most precious thing they have to give.

三、

永遠不要後悔對不對的人做好人。你的善良說明你的一切。他們的行為說明了他們的一切。

Never regret being a good person to the wrong people. Your kindness says everything about you. Their behavior says everything about them.

擁抱變化,繼續成為你一直想成為的那個人。

Embrace change and continue to become the person you were always meant to be.

不管生活如何發展,它都會發生:愉快或不愉快,失望或興奮,期待或意外,所有這些!知道無論什麼波浪湧來,我們都能優雅地駕馭它,這將是多麼令人寬慰的事。

Life is going to unfold however it does: pleasant or unpleasant, disappointing or thrilling, expected or unexpected, all of the above! What a relief it would be to know that whatever wave comes along, we can ride it out with grace.

Our emotions blur reality. Often we need time and space to see things how they really are.

如果你注意到一個想法的出現,你就有了選擇。是否相信這個想法。是否按思想行事。是否忽略了思想。

If you notice a thought arising, you get choice. Whether to believe the thought. Whether to act on the thought. Whether to ignore the thought.

我們傾向於忽略與我們的信念不符的資訊。意識到這一點是很好的。

We have a tendency to ignore information that doesn’t conform with our beliefs. It’s good to be aware of this.

如果你內在沒有足夠的平和與慈悲,你就不可能快樂。
