“汝窯、官窯、哥窯、鈞窯、定窯”是宋代五大名窯，汝窯創燒於北宋晚期，因為其釉色鮮豔青翠，號稱“宋瓷之冠”。由於汝窯發展時間僅有20年左右，所以目前存世極為稀少。汝窯的成就也是相當高，窯址在河南臨汝縣集中，如今在收藏界也極為少見。

宋官窯貫耳瓶為遼宋西夏金時期製造，宋代瓷器的質地、釉色、式樣、產量都遠遠超過前代，官窯是指由中央官府開設的窯場，專門燒製御用瓷器，其中有不少是仿古造型的陳設品。該件官窯貫耳瓶即仿自古代青銅投壺造型，直口闊腹，瓶側筒狀貫耳與足部兩側長方孔相對應。此瓶釉色厚潤，端莊典雅，是宋代瓷器中的珍品。

此藏品為“汝窯貫耳瓶”，其釉質瑩潤光澤，胎土細膩溫潤。直徑較長，腹部扁圓，頸部兩側對稱貼有豎直的管狀貫耳，均勻協調，光澤沉穩，油潤自然，是不可多得的收藏佳品。

器面一般沒有裝飾紋飾，著重在於釉色取勝，釉面一般會呈現碎裂的紋路。這些紋路似玉、非玉、而勝玉，被稱之為“縱有家財萬貫，不如汝瓷一片”。
