2020 has gone by surprisingly fast. Although the pandemic prevented us from traveling after February, we still managed to have many happy moments at home, at work and socializing via Zoom.
Spending time at home allowed us to experience the change in colors of the garden with the seasons and observe the beautiful nature on the institute campus. The photos on our greeting card capture these impressions.
We hope you also had a good year, despite the hardships of the pandemic and the uncertainties it brought.
We wish you a relaxing time over this season's holidays and all the best for 2021.

遠端參與去年10月份的論壇是那麼的有趣又激動人心。希望2021年，我們能夠恢復正常的生活。突破空間的阻礙去旅行，又或者是能夠面對面地進行交談。
The ending year has been very difficult and we are aware of the amount of work you had to do to keep the WLA going and being successful in spite of the travel restrictions due to the pandemic.
The Shanghai meeting of last October, which we followed from the screens of our computer was very interesting and stimulating. Let us hope that 2021 will be the year when we will be able to resume a «normal » life, allowing us to travel and to meet in person.

I wish to you and to the other WLA organisers a merry Christmas and a very happy and peaceful new year (in the Western calendar, waiting for the Chinese New Year).
Let's hope 2021 will be better than 2020 and the covid crisis will be overcome in the whole world as it has already been in China ! We need to recover normal social contacts and meetings between people.

Many thanks for the invitation and participation to the 3rd World Laureates Forum. This was a most fascinating moment to present my work on the chemistry of brain communications but also, to have a constructive debate with a most distinguished scientific audience from China.
