F. 不定代詞all, both, either

1. 表示“全體”時,可以用both或all。both表示“兩個”的全體,all則表示“三者以上”的全體。

2. both只可與複數名詞搭配,而all既可與複數名詞搭配,也可與單數名詞和不可數名詞搭配。

Both suggestions are good.兩個建議都

All the windows are open.所有的窗子都開著

It rained all day.整天都在下雨

The hungry boy ate all the food.那個飢餓的男孩吃了所有的食物。

3. either表示“兩者中的任何一個”;也可表示“兩者中每一個”,相當於 both of two things，

後接單數形式的謂語動詞

There Is ice-cream or Coke. You can have either.有冰淇淋和可樂,你可以隨便吃哪一

樣。

There are trees on either side of the street.(=There are trees on both sides of the street.)

在街道的兩邊都有樹。

G. 不定代詞neither, none, no

1. neither表示“兩者中的任何一個都不”,而none則表示“三者以上中的任何一

個都不，均表示全部否定

Neither of the twins is here.那對雙胞胎都不在這裡。

None of us have(has) been abroad.我們都沒出過國。”

2. no表示否定,可與可數名詞和不可數名詞搭配。與單數名詞搭配相當於not a,與複數名詞搭配相當於 not any。

I have no car.(= I have not a car.)我沒有車

He has no sisters.(= He has not any sisters.)他沒有姐妹。

There is no air on the moon.(= There Is not any air on the moon.)月球上沒有空氣

H.不定代詞each, every; each other, one another

1.each指兩個或兩個以上中的每一個,既可作代詞,也可作形容詞;而而 every只能形容詞，指三個或三個以上中的每一個。

On each side of the street there are shops and restaurants.在街道的兩邊都有商店和餐館。

On each/ every side of the square there are tall buildings.在廣場的每一邊都有高樓。

He comes to see his parents every three days.他每隔三天來看他的父母一次。

2.each表示“每個”,側重“個別”; every則側重“全體”。

Each has his own task.每個人都有各自自的任務。,

Nearly every student in my class has passed the examination.

我班幾乎每個學生考試都及格了。

3. each other和 one another均為相互代詞,都表示“彼此,相互”,可以相互替換。它們的屬格形式是 each other"s和 one another’s。

I. 不定代詞one,(the) other,(the) others, another

1. one表示“一個,一人”;表示承接前面已出現過的同種類可數名詞,複數形式為 ones

2. other表示“其他的,另外的”;通常與複數名詞搭配, others本身就指代複數。

She doesn’t care what other people think.她不在乎別人想什麼。

Some people like playing football, others don"t.有些人喜歡踢足球,其他一些人不喜歡踢足球。

3. another所指的是單數,表示“另外的,又一”;通常也與單數名詞搭配。

4. another如與一以上的基數詞搭配,便可與複數名詞連用,表示“另外幾個”。

She" Il have to be in hospital for another two weeks.她將在醫院裡再呆兩週。

5. the other只限於兩個中的“另一個”; another表示“另一個”則不受此限制; the others指許多當中的“另外幾個”。

There are many clothing shops on the other side of the street

在街的另一邊有許多服裝店

This jacket doesn"t fit me, Please show me another one.

這件夾克衫不適合我,請給我看另一件。

Five of the boys finished their homework, the others didn"t.

6.one... the other...指“一個…(兩個中)另一個人/物……”

one.. the others...指“一個……(許多中的)另外幾個入/物…”

some... others·指“一些……另一些……”
